M xDrive Intelligent All-wheel Drive System

Every trim level comes standard with the M xDrive Intelligent All-wheel Drive System.  The system delivers a pronounced rear-wheel bias and can be adjusted to three different modes: 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel drive sport, and 2-wheel drive.

Exterior Build and Design

The exterior of the BMW M5 is made up of lightweight materials like the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic roof, which provides you with increased performance. It also comes standard with Adaptive Full LED Headlights. The rear features a weight-optimized exhaust system with quad tailpipes, a subtle M rear spoiler, and an M rear apron with diffuser.

Technology Features

The BMW M5 comes equipped with an Anti-theft AM/FM in-dash stereo CD/MP3 player with Radio Data System, and a Harman Kardon® Surround Sound Audio System. The Harman Kardon® Surround Sound Audio System includes an equalizer, a powerful 600-watt amplifier, and 16 speakers (7 tweeters, 7 midrange speakers, and 2 bass speakers.)

Each trim level also comes standard with the iDrive 6.0 intuitive interface system. This allows you hands-free access to your music, phone, and navigation. It works with BMW gesture control as well, which allows you to answer incoming calls, adjust volume, and more with simple hand commands. It also comes with a head-up display, which shows you shift lights, gear selection, and navigation prompts, projected right on to your windshield.

Some available features include the available wireless charging and available WiFi® hotspot. The available wireless charging allows you to put your phone in a charging pocket, so you don’t have to deal with unnecessary wires.
