X3 M Performance

The X3 M comes with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine that offers smooth, consistent power. This engine produces between 473 and 503 horsepower and a reliable 442 lb-ft of torque. With the Competition model, the M gets the high-output 503-horsepower engine, a sport exhaust, and 21-inch wheels. All models use an eight-speed automatic transmission and a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system.

The M Competition can run 0 to 60 in a stunning 3.3 seconds and can run a quarter in 11.6 seconds. The SUV is surprisingly agile as well, cornering and turning with the best of the M sedans. The top speed is a solid 161 mph.

X3 M Interior

The X3 M boasts the same stylish interior and space as the X3, but it’s packed with luxury features and exclusive touches that set it apart. Some of these features include red drive-mode buttons on the steering wheel, heavily bolstered front seats, and M badging.

The M also adds selectable interior accents to customize the look, leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and heated front seats. If you want upgrades, you can choose premium leather, a head-up display, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and window shades.

The X3 M comes standard with a 10.25-inch touch-screen infotainment system with a combination of touch inputs, physical knobs, and steering-wheel-mounted controls. The infotainment system can also be controlled by a rotary knob on the center console with several shortcut buttons for commonly used features.

A premium Harman Kardon® stereo system, navigation, and a built-in wi-fi hotspot are also available. With smartphone integration, you’ll be able to stream your phone’s media through the car’s onboard system. Optional enhancements include wireless charging and gesture controls, so you can use your hand to control the system.
