The X3 M comes with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine that offers smooth, consistent power. This engine produces between 473 and 503 horsepower and a reliable 442 lb-ft of torque. With the Competition model, the M gets the high-output 503-horsepower engine, a sport exhaust, and 21-inch wheels. All models use an eight-speed automatic transmission and a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system.
