About This Family-Owned Farm

Herb and Alice Landis Tonry started planting trees in 1964 as part of a 4-H project. Years later, they decided to make this hobby a full-time career.

Herb and Alice continued to run the business until his passing in 1990 and hers in 2016. Today, the farm is run by their children and other relatives. It continues to bring their family together as it has for over 50 years. Plus, when you visit, they hope that selecting and cutting down your own tree will bring you and your family closer together.

At Tonry Tree Farm, you’ll have tons of options for your next holiday tree. They come in lots of different sizes and are available in specific varieties, such as:

Every tree is clearly labeled so that you can touch and smell the different trees—making it that much easier to find the perfect one.

While the farm primarily sells trees, you can find other items here.

They have wreaths to put on the door, greens to put on your mantle, and other decorations for different rooms throughout your home.

You’ll find 24-inch and 36-inch wreaths that are decorated with mixed greens. Plus, there are specialty wreaths that are 12 inches in size and have mixed greens and fresh ornamental plant materials. They also have beautiful red velvet bows placed throughout for an elegant look and feel to them.

Additionally, you’ll find kissing balls here along with mailbox covers adorned in mixed greens. No matter what you purchase here, your home will be all decked out for the holidays, putting you in the Christmas spirit.
